Business Manager

Position Description: PMS is seeking a hands-on, strategic Business Manager to join the administrative team beginning in July 2025 or sooner. The Business Manager is an integral part of the community and will oversee all financial, human resources, and operational functions of the school. The Business Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the school while also contributing to a positive work environment and efficient operational practices. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the school, working closely with a collegial administrative team including the Head of School and as well as with trustees to support the mission. Assistant Teacher

Qualifications

  • Should have knowledge of child development, developmentally appropriate teaching strategies, and excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Successfully pass background check and CPR/First Aid Training

  • Experience in early childhood education or relevant field preferred

  • Knowledge or background in Montessori education preferred. Otherwise, a willingness to learn and complete training in this area, including, but not limited to, a Montessori “Orientation” or Assistant Course
